This year is flying by – it’s already May! I genuinely feel like I have blinked and missed the first half part of this year. So I have been reading a few things online about May being mental health month and have decided I am going to do a few posts about it.
Week One is ‘Post if for you: How you practice self-care and personal well-being’ so this week you will be seeing different posts around this topic.
As it is bank holiday I will get into it properly tomorrow but I thought I would share what I go up to today. Yesterday I found myself not wanting to do anything, which wasn’t great and I was feeling quite down. So late yesterday Annie and I made plans for lunch today. I think I underestimate just how much getting outside actually helps me to feel better about myself and just everything in general – plus a chocolate cake treat helps put everyone in a good mood!
