Weekly Roundup #1
I have decided that I am going to start doing a weekly roundup type of post because I think this will be something nice to look back on in the future. I will be posting this every Monday and this will include a summary of the previous week.
1st July – 7th July
This week has been very strange. I have been feeling ridiculously tired and just generally in a bad mood. This is probably to do with having a cold and feeling run down. I have been spending more time on this blog and playing around with editing videos, I am trying to make more of a conscious effort to be creative again and so far it is going well.
My day off from work on Tuesday was pretty uneventful. I took myself off for a walk around town and picked up a little bit of chocolate (diet went out of the window very early on) before heading home to come up with some ideas for blog posts and editing the first few videos from when we went to Poland.
I was back in work Wednesday – Friday and I can safely say that I was ready for the weekend by the time I left on Friday. I was completely exhausted and just generally drained. I was planning to have a lay in on Saturday but because I crashed so early on Friday I had a really decent nights sleep without needing to have a lay in. This meant I managed to leave my house before 10 am to head off to Marysia’s. By the time I arrived in Swansea the whole population seemed to be heading off to see the Air Show so Marysia and I decided to head in the opposite direction and play a little bit of Wizard’s Unite at Llanelli Beach before heading back to hers to watch the Angel of Auschwitz. On Sunday we took Boris out for a little walk in Penllergare Valley Woods before it got too warm and then we crashed for a little while before I headed home.
I can safely say the chilled weekend was definitely what I needed and has definitely got me out of the bad mood I had developed throughout the week. I think this next week is going to be a quiet week as I am working the weekend but I am looking forward to the weekend after as me and Marysia have a few things planned!
